When FBI Director Comey asked what the difference was with Russian involvement in this election versus previous elections he responded: “It was louder.” When asked why he thought it was louder, Comey said he thought it was to “freak out” Americans. I keep talking to our readers about the strength of Psychological Operations. Just think about the amount of time and money spent on this subject. PsyOps is how Reagan defeated the Soviet Union. Anybody remember the Strategic Defense Initiative? It was partially used to make the Soviets believe we were much further ahead than we were. Guess they are using it to weaken us. Don’t fall for it. With all the foreign money funneled into the Hillary Clinton campaign she still lost. Nobody ever seems to talk about her ties to Russia and other countries that wanted to influence our elections.
Rally in KY
President Trump holds a rally in Louisville KY on 20 March. One of the key points is keeping America safe from Islamic Terrorists. The same day there was an Islamic Terror attack in London. While the terrorist was a radicalized in prison it is just one more reason for America to keep this influence out of our country. On a philosophical level, I wonder if our freedom of religion is too broadly interpreted by some. Think about the history of Mormonism is America. When Mormons insisted on having multiple wives because of religious conviction the Supreme Court struck them down. The reason was holding a belief was not the same as taking the action. So, you can hold the belief it is your duty to have multiple wives but you cannot practice it. That sounds reasonable to some people. However, wanting multiple wives is not the same as wanting to kill people. That is no trivial thing.
Repeal and replace of Obamacare did not gain support in the House. President Trump says several main things. First, let Obamacare fail and then there will be no choice. Already 1/3 of all American Counties only have 1 provider. Obama knew this would all fall apart in 2017. Lastly, President Trump says he will work with Democrats. We will see how that goes. In my opinion, it is a no-win situation. Greg Gutfeld put it this way: It’s like being shot but you cannot remove the bullet without killing the patient. I love his way of putting things.
The President may yet be vindicated on the wiretap tweet. I personally have my doubts. However, we all found comments by Devon Nunes disturbing.
First, I recently confirmed that on numerous occasions, the intelligence community incidentally collected information about U.S. citizens involved in the Trump transition. Second, details about U.S. persons associated with the incoming administration, details with little or no apparent foreign-intelligence value, were widely disseminated in intelligence-community reporting. Third, I have confirmed that additional names of Trump transition-team members were unmasked. Fourth and finally, I want to be clear, none of this surveillance was related to Russia or the investigation of Russian activities or of the Trump team. ~
President Trump met with members of the trucking industry. He highlighted their love for our country and the fact they distribute our food, deliver fuel for our cars and the steel that builds our cities and bridges. The President used this moment to highlight our need to rebuild our infrastructure. This may seem trivial to some people. To me it is great. I like the way the President respects and honors those of us who work for a living and who are often taken for granted. Imagine, a Billionaire who actually appreciates the little guy!
The President officially announced the Presidential Permit for the Keystone Pipeline. We knew it was coming but now it is here. Jobs and the safe transport of oil coming to America! A great day for us and another nail in the coffin of Middle East oil.
Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch sat through a long Senate question and answer session. He handled himself perfectly. Democrats tried to make him look like he favored big business over “the little guy” to no avail. Democrat Chuck Schumer calls for a filibuster. He and the Democrats will be sorry if they get it (doubtful). Republicans vow to go nuclear, changing the rules to only require a simple majority. Democrat Harry Reid changed the rules in 2013. Not smart but here we are!
