Did you know more Republicans were behind a woman’s right to vote than Democrats? Hillary would have you believe Republicans have some kind of “war on women” going on. Nope, they never did and the statistics will amaze you. In the same way Hillary would have you believe Donald Trump is against women. As we have previously covered, all evidence proves otherwise.

On May 21, 1919, it was passed, 304 to 89, (Republicans 200-19 for, Democrats 102-69 for, Union Labor 1-0 for, Prohibitionist 1-0 for),[211] 42 votes more than necessary being obtained. On June 4, 1919, it was brought the Senate, and after a long discussion it was passed, with 56 ayes and 25 nays (Republicans 36-8 for, Democrats 20-17 for).

House

Republicans 200-19 for a woman’s right to vote. That means 91% of Republicans in the House voted for a woman’s right to vote.

Democrats 102-69 for a woman’s right to vote. That means only 40% of Democrats in the House voted for a woman’s right to vote. A clear majority of Democrats were against a woman’s right to vote.

Senate

Republicans 36-8 for a woman’s right to vote. That means 82% of Republicans voted for a woman’s right to vote in the Senate.

Democrats 20-17 for a woman’s right to vote. That means 46% of Democrats were against a woman’s right to vote and 54% were for.
