Steven Maikoski has worked with several political influence groups, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and National Write Your Congressman. As he discussed politics he realized how far our government had moved from its foundation, so he started on a long study of our history, political philosophies, and the dangers posed by greedy politicians, going all the way back to Plato, our Constitution and its supporting Federalist Papers. Steve is a veteran of the US Air Force (1968-1973) having served in support of Army Aviation in Western Germany, and worked with National Severe Storms Laboratories during one thunderstorm season in Oklahoma. As a skydiving instructor and jumpmaster, he experienced the sport from its transition period from the round parachutes to the modern airfoils that everybody uses today. He finished his jumping after competing in ten-man speed star competitions in Casa Grande, AZ. For 35 years, Steve was a photographer at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Most of his work was done for USA Basketball.
