I thank you for the info (links) you provided. I haven’t been a part of social media for over 6 years (I deleted a Farcebook and Twatter account back in 2014) but here recently, I’ve been considering stepping back into the ‘arena’. I just have a hard time dealing with those who simply don’t WANT to acknowledge truth. I have never suffered liars and to me, that’s exactly what these poor, pathetic souls are doing: lying to me, themselves, and anyone else with whom they come into contact. Still, I can see your point and the prime target SHOULD be those who ‘straddle the fence’ on political issues. Who knows? Maybe I’ll change my mind here soon and become a Digital Warrior. Until then, I’m trying to improve myself by having spirited debates with folks on sites like Youtube and NewsMax.
It’s not for everyone but I saw the merit in it myself. My practice is usually to drop in a link that counters their point of view. It is important to use credible sources. Sometimes I’m able to find things in the typical left wing media to counter them. Politics is an information war. There are liars on both sides so I’m always careful.
Social media trolls are not a way to understand what nominees are about. That’s right, they will not discuss facts that are true. They just are gossiping online. Look up facts on line not social media!
Hi Bill. That is why I mention to not engage them. Simply pop in a truth bomb and leave. Responding to idiots just wastes our time. However, some might catch it and question their own party. #WalkAway is successful.
