As an Army veteran who has worked for both types of Army officers, I much rather have Don in the Senate. He is one who made the military a career, made it a choice, did it the difficult way, was promoted to Regular Army from reserve status which in my day was not an easy transition to be accomplished especially from a small state ROTC program.
