“We are deeply saddened by the death of Hon. Mrs. Alice Butler-Short, a cherished member of the ‘Veterans For America First’ and #MAGA Movement extended family.  Her passing represents an enormous personal loss to each and every one of us.

Tiny in stature, but big in political prowess, Alice has been a heavy hitter in national Republican politics for decades. Founder and President of the grassroots, non-profit Virginia Women For Trump organization, Alice was admired by millions of like-minded patriots across America, and the world, for her courage, dedication and intellect both behind the scenes and on-stage.  In her leadership role of successfully organizing hundreds of events across the country to eloquently giving life to monumental public speeches, to coordinating logistics seemingly 24/7/365 days a year, non-stop she was a force to be reckoned with. Quite frankly, this is a huge blow to our entire community as Alice leaves quite the impossible legacy to trump.

Alice had a reputation for stark professionalism and was a well-respected member of the God-fearing, Constitutional-Conservative, Pro-Trump, patriot #MAGA movement. Virginia Women For Trump was created by this incredible woman in 2015 from an informal gathering of 22 conservative women- all volunteers- in her small Virginia living room and has expanded to over 36 States, with statewide ‘sister’ organizations and affiliates- most notably, as of January 01, 2021- official memberships growing to an estimated 200,000+ nationwide.

Our most heartfelt condolences, thoughts and prayers go to Alice’s family, ‘Virginia Women For Trump’ colleagues and beloved network of friends as ‘Veterans For America First’ has had an extensive 6+-year professional and personal relationship with them all. Now, taking care of Alice’s immediate family and close friends is currently our top priority.”

National Spokesman Army Warrant Officer Tom Speciale will be attending the Celebration of Life of Mrs. Alice Butler-Short along with a delegation of Veterans For America First VIPs.
