This is a quick video discussion on the Biden documents. There isn’t much to say since the talking heads have already covered most of this.
I will not be a hypocrite. Some of what was true about classified documents when I posted about the Trump raid is true about Biden having classified documents. Click here for my post about classified documents.
Of course, there are differences. Trump was President and had broad authority to declassify documents. As Vice President Biden had authority under an Obama-era Executive Order. (corrected 16:36 EST on the date of posting) However, Biden never claimed to have declassified the documents in his possession. Therefore, the argument about his authority to declassify is not relevant.
I suspect all this has more to do with politics than National Security. What I find almost humorous is how statements made by politicians and the media do not age well. Sometimes I feel like I’m living in the Twilight Zone and guess I’m not alone.

It is interesting that it was Biden’s aides that made the discovery. Seems odd that they even reported it.
Yes. The theory presented by someone on FOX was the Aides/Dems want to get rid of him and thought this might help.
Of course, the other odd thing is Biden said his lawyers told him not to ask what was in the documents. That is the only thing that made my “spidey sense” go off.
Maybe it is some seriously classified material. As I have said before, most classified material is a nothing burger. However, that is anecdotal based on my personal experience in AF Spec Ops.
Doesn’t “inadvertently misplaced” and “irresponsibly misplaced” mean the same thing when you’re talking about classified material?
Well inadvertently misplaced would be irresponsible. That’s for darn sure. It’s all quite a mess and you really have to wonder how many times this has been done by other presidents and vps and we never knew. Maybe that’s why Obama created the executive order to cover vps.
It is hilarious to watch the White House spokesman KJP spin questions about Joe Biden’s documents into answers about gas prices. That is certainly nothing I would brag about since the national average is still a dollar more per gallon than when Trump left office. Yet she brags about gas being $1.70 less than the national average that Biden caused. Regardless, what does any of this have to do with the questions asked about the Biden documents?
The direct question to KJP was about White House spokesman Ian Sams who told reporters on Tuesday. “They’re (Republicans) faking outrage, even though they defended the former president’s actions.” In reality, it is pointing to the hypocrisy of it all. If Biden wanted to end this he could do so easily. Simply come forward and apologize for his previous statements about Trump. No, he will never do that. Biden is not alone in his inability to apologize. This is the problem with most politicians. There is no humility.
My last thought on today’s White House briefing was KJP using the words “clear” and “consistent” so many times I could not count them all. I’m guessing these words were used more than 100 times during the briefing. The one thing you can know for sure is it is neither clear or consistent. Remember, if they keep saying something the truth is exactly the opposite.
