People are amazed by President Trump’s increasing popularity despite facing numerous lawsuits. If you are familiar with your Bible and especially Paul there is a similarity. Paul was frequently imprisoned throughout his ministry, and it seemed like no matter where he went, there were always people trying to put him behind bars. If you want to know more about why Paul was imprisoned here is a good article. To put it in a nutshell, Paul’s accusers did not want to hear the message of salvation, so they imprisoned and eventually killed the messenger. Jesus warned us that we should not be surprised when the world hates Christians because it hated Him first.

In the book of Philippians Paul is in chains for preaching the Gospel. At the same time this drew more attention to his message. Everyone was talking about this Jesus Paul was preaching. Some argued one way and others another. Nevertheless, the Gospel of Jesus Christ was the center of discussion. Below is an excerpt from Philippians chapter 1:

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. 17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.

I’m not saying Trump is Jesus or anything like that. I know how the lefties will want to jump on this. What I am pointing out is the liberal media and corrupt justice system promotes Trump by fighting against him. Persecution through prosecution only makes him stronger in the minds of those of us who have been treated unjustly.

Certainly, the landscape of communication has evolved significantly since the era of Paul. The prevalence of video technology has revolutionized the way information is disseminated and consumed. In instances where individuals attempt to distort the truth by taking statements out of context, full video evidence serves as a powerful tool in providing the necessary context.

Moreover, the repeated use of false accusations and inflammatory language tends to awaken the public to the deceitful tactics employed by certain individuals or groups. Such behavior can be likened to the infamous Salem Witch Trials, where baseless accusations led to unjust prosecutions.

In today’s society, it is imperative that we remain vigilant against the manipulation of information and the unjust treatment of individuals. By recognizing the parallels between past injustices and current events, we can strive towards a more just society for all. The tactics of the left are undone by the self evident truth. Things were better under Trump.

So where did the animosity really originate? He exposed the deep state. So much so that before Trump took office on Jan 20, 2017, Chuck Schumer said on Jan 4, 2017 : “Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday of getting back at you.”  Even though Schumer is a Democrat he was telling the truth on that subject. To me it is a miracle that Trump got anything done with all the corrupt levers of power coming against him before he even got started.

However, just like the persecution of Paul the persecution of Trump has led to his increase in popularity among groups you would never expect.

According to a New York Times/Siena poll released this weekend, the former president’s support among black voters is now 23%, marking a 19 percentage point increase since the same poll taken in October 2020. Source

Trump leads Biden among Hispanics, registered voters overall: poll
46% of Hispanics said they would vote for Trump, while 40% said they would support Biden. Source

You do not need to be a Christian to understand all this, but it sure does help.
