When Musk donates around 45 million a month to a Trump Super PAC, things are getting serious. Elon Musk officially endorsed him for president following Saturday’s assassination attempt, stating, “The last time we had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt.” Previously Musk said he would not endorse either candidate. That all changed when he saw Trump’s reaction under fire.

In case you had not heard yet, a GoFundMe campaign for the victims’ families, David Dutch, 57, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and James Copenhaver, 74, of Moon Township, and a separate GoFundMe campaign for Comperatore’s family was established.

Now with the VP pick being JD Vance the tech industry billionaires are donating out in the open.

Vance advocates for antitrust measures against dominant Big Tech companies, such as Google, who have been accused of suppressing smaller competitors. This stance is widely supported by “little tech” startups, which are often backed by tech venture capitalists. Musk is likely pleased with this as well. He does not care much for Google and Microsoft, especially in the area of AI.

The last time around Trump was out spent by a wide margin. With Joe’s donors drying up this should be interesting.
