It is obvious to a majority of Americans, including Democrats that the Colorado decision is political and will not stand up at the U.S. Supreme Court. However, I thought of an interesting analogy a kid can understand.

I imagined asking my 11-year-old granddaughter what would happen under this scenario:

You run a race but you are disqualified by the finish line judge. When you ask why he says because I heard there is a pack of gum missing from your homeroom teacher’s desk. You then point out that your homeroom teacher didn’t accuse you of taking it. The finish line judge replies, that doesn’t matter the gum is missing and I don’t like you.

That is what is happening. It’s just that simple folks. Of all the charges against Trump insurrection is not one of them. If we are going to remove candidates from ballots just because we don’t like them then this will make us the same as every dictator-ruled country I ever visited or fought against. Even the President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele said “It is clear that the interests of the United States Government have NOTHING TO DO with democracy, in ANY COUNTRY.” Then, on Dec. 12, Bukele tweeted: “US taxpayers should know that their government is using their money to fund communist movements against a democratic elected (and with a 90% approval rating) government in El Salvador. It’s not working though.” As a former Special Operator, I believe him.

We have lost the moral high ground under the Biden administration. Isn’t this what the left kept saying would happen under Trump? It is like the old children’s saying “I’m rubber, you’re glue. Everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you.” All the fear-mongering about Trump has come to fruition under Biden.

A veteran friend replied in a group text message: It’s a shame they are making Trump waste all his money on these frivolous cases. 

My reply was: I don’t know about that. I think the money Trump is spending on defense is better than paid-for advertising. Trump grows stronger with every attack they levy against him.

I can’t tell you the number of people I see coming to Trump’s side simply because he is being treated so unfairly. Sure, part of it is because the Democrats failed so miserably. However, some of his support is now coming from people who might not like him personally but are tired of the double standards. Of the dozens of comments from Never Trumpers, there was only one who was not going to vote for Trump. He picked the category of “Other or not voting“. I’m telling you these Never Trumpers are emotionally and mentally disturbed, brainwashed people but they are going to vote for Trump according to their comments. It is either that or they are deranged and lying about who they are voting for. I cannot be sure. Time will tell.
