Just a quick point about party affiliation and support for Israel. Back in Mar 2023, before the war broke out, Gallup took a poll. The title was Democrats’ Sympathies in Middle East Shift to Palestinians. They break it down by party and by generation Young people and Democrats now favor Palestinians over Israel.
The declining respect for religion among Democrats contributes to the ongoing trend. Throughout history, religious affiliation has strongly influenced one’s sympathy towards Israel. Individuals who regularly attend religious services tend to exhibit greater support for the Israelis compared to those who rarely or never attend such services according to Gallup.
The survey found that 49% of Democrats said their sympathies were more with the Palestinians than the Israelis, while 38% said the opposite and 13% said their sympathies were with both sides, neither side, or that they had no opinion.
This is no surprise to those of us who lean right. We know that when the left makes an accusation and points a finger, four fingers are pointing back at them. They said Trump and those of us who support him are Hitler or worse than Hitler. The poll from Gallup shows the opposite. I’m not saying Democrats are Hitler or worse than Hitler. What the poll shows is Democrats overall would likely be more aligned with him. Hitler was of course anti Jew and anti-Christian.
I’m also not saying this is all Democrats. The poll doesn’t support that and I don’t believe in bunching all people into one group. However, it is a slippery slope even if you don’t like that term. Think about abortion. There were a good number of pro-life Democrats in Congress at one point. That is no longer true but it took years to get there. I think there are only a couple left. Cindy Hyde-Smith in the Senate. Four Democrat Representatives recently voted for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. I’m not sure that makes them pro-life but at least there are 4 Democrats in the House that believe a baby born alive should be allowed to live.
Since this is a grim subject I thought I would end on a light note. I saw this image and wondered if it was true. Sadly, it is. That is a testimony to our education system but it does make me grin at the stupidity.

The madman believes his own lies: Trump Claims Israel Wouldn’t Have Been Attacked ‘If the Election Wasn’t Rigged’ Against Him
You make 2 illogical points (probably based on something from on a left leaning rag as it appears you simply copied and pasted a leftist headline. Normally I would have trashed your comment for a copy and paste but I’m letting this one slide.):
First, Trump claims Israel would not have attacked if he were President. Everyone has this sense of a sliding scale of probability. If you use this to justify that Trump is a madman then you disqualify every political candidate for making similar statements. They all say this or that will or won’t happen if I’m elected. Unlike those new candidates Trump has a track record that supports his claim on the probability scale.
Second the headlines next reason for calling him a madman is that he keeps saying the election was rigged. First, the definition from Websters:
So, Trump has joined other politicians such as Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Stacey Abrams. Where is your outrage with them and others? Hillary put us through years of turmoil with her Russian Collusion Hoax. Doesn’t that make you angry? If not how do you logically justify being angry at Trump?
I let this comment slide even though it is just a left wing talking point to expose the lack of rational thought from the left and never Trumpers. Emotions eradicate skills.
