(May 9, 2021)) Respectfully, ‘Veterans  For America First’ is excited to celebrate and honor First Responders during the official ‘National Police Week’ as between May 9-15, 2021 throughout the United States.

Established by in 1962, a Congressional joint-resolution during Kennedy’s Presidency, ‘National Police Week’ is intended to give special recognition to fallen law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the protection and safety of others. Annually, the formally- recognized ‘National Police Week’ occurs every May and this year, from May 9-15, 2021, the National Law Enforcement Memorial & Museum will deliver and in-person and virtual programs with the overarching goal of keeping current (read: past and their families, too) police officers safe and healthy. Additionally, the ‘holiday’ celebrates the lives of America’s First Responder- i.e. heroes- through conducting official ceremonies honoring fallen officers whose named have been recently added to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.

According to The National Law Enforcement Officers Enforcement Fund, the founder of ‘National Police Week’, this year’s celebration has gone virtual and an updated ‘Calendar of Events’ can be found online at: www.nleomf.org. “This year, our focus for National Police Week is Officer Safety and Wellness.” -emphasizes The National Law Enforcement Officers Enforcement Fund official spokesman. Generally, the overall goal of ‘National Police Week: 2021’ is to keep all law enforcement officers participating in the daily scheduled events at the official ‘Police Memorial’ site both in-person and virtually, through daily morning workouts, a suicide prevention program, a special Destination Zero Cardiac Wellness Screening’ and an ‘OSW Product Showcase’ throughout the week of celebrations.

As such, Veterans For America First shares the same ‘National Police Week’ mission-statements and #BackTheBlue policy initiatives- essentially, the fallen will never be forgotten. As an organization, our grassroots work and community service continues to protect and defend the fallen and their families, as well as honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in their capacity as First Responders. Veterans For America First National Spokesman Admiral Chuck Kubic adds, “Our organization was established by U.S. Military combat veterans and works in conjunction with Veteran Service Organizations (VSO’s), non-profits, corporate sponsors and government agencies to provide support and advocacy for both (read: heroes) Veterans and First Responders on both local and national levels.”
