I will believe the Democrats are concerned about Russian interference in our elections when they vote in favor of voter ID laws.
Let’s face the facts. You need an ID to buy alcohol, tobacco, get a welfare check, apply for unemployment, open a bank account, enter many government buildings or anything else that applies to normal American life.
They are not really concerned about foreigners interfering in our elections.

I do not see why Voter ID laws are so opposed. Pretty much for the reasons you stated.
However, why do we need these laws? Voter fraud is as close to zero as is possible.
Let’s just say evidence of voter and vote fraud (two different things) are hotly contested. The left says it doesn’t happen and right brings forth the claim that it cannot be tracked accurately or there is more than the left says. The debate goes on.
1. Many smaller races are decided by extremely small margins. In these cases, it could make a big difference.
2. There have been some notable cases where even a small number in a Governor or Presidential race hinged on small numbers of votes.
3. With Motor Voter there have been many instances of illegal aliens being encouraged to register to vote.
4. San Fransisco and other areas are now allowing illegal immigrants to vote in local elections. The problem is how can someone prevent them from voting in Federal elections?
In conclusion, we need to take a multi-level approach to assure Americans that only their votes count. This includes physical verification of someone’s right to vote, keeping our machinery and reporting procedures protected as well as harsh prosecution for those who work the election polls who tamper with votes.
Sounds good, what is Trump do something to ensure our election is not interfered with? I can not find anything besides the investigation committees.
$380 million was put towards the states to help them fight actual interference which nobody says happened. The biggest issue is with private companies like Facebook, Twitter, Google etc., which the government does not and should not control. They along with the MSM try to defeat Trump and hamstring his Presidency but they are failing. An observant person would likely see there is a bigger threat from the deep state and our own companies than there is from Russia. Like I said before, I will believe the left is serious about vote and voter fraud when they approve voter I.D. This is mostly a PsyOps thing.
