Yesterday we had a great meeting with freshman Congressman Dan Meuser who we endorsed during the 2018 mid-term elections. Dan now sits on the House Committee on Veteran’s Affairs as well as two other committees:

  • House Committee on Education and Labor
    • Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Investment
    • Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions
  • House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs
    • Subcommittee on Health
    • Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity
  • House Committee on the Budget

Needless to say, no moss will be growing under Dan’s feet. Dan is also a huge supporter of President Trump’s policies relating to veterans affairs. We discussed issues relating to the Mission Act, VA Accountability Act, VA Hospitals and even Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF). We now have a great opportunity with Dan Meuser in our corner helping vets.

Many veterans have contacted me with various issues. Sadly, I have been almost a one-man show since the election. The good news is I now have two very good friends from Pennsylvania’s Concerned Vets for America who know the issues inside and out. From left to right is Allen McCormack Coalitions Director – PA Concerned Veterans for America, Congressman Dan Meuser, Yours Truly and Anthony Jorgensen Grassroots Engagement Director PA Concerned Veterans for America. I would like to thank Allen, Dan, and Anthony for their great work and support of our veterans community locally and nationally.

Please remember, if you email me or get through to me via phone, have your issues ready in a concise format. If you reference existing rules/issues please provide website links that are of an authoritative nature. I do not have time to do the research for you.

Try to think about issues that affect us as a whole. It is one thing to have a personal issue and another to have experienced an issue that affects large numbers of us. Thanks for understanding and let’s keep America great!

PS I’m approaching a decision on retirement by December of this year. If I am able to make ends meet I will be able to devote more time to this project and other projects to help veterans under the name We Who Served. More about that later.

I would like to remind everyone that we are Veterans for Trump but that never stops us from helping a fellow veteran who may not agree with us on policy issues.

We have earned the right to make fun of each other.

Thanks to Allen McCormack for sharing this image.
