People say our system is broken. I do not agree. It works the way it is supposed to work. Congress passes legislation to the Executive branch for signing. If the Executive does not sign it is called a Veto. If the Congress can come up with a 2/3 majority it does not matter if the Executive Vetoes the bill. Learn more on Wikipedia.
Why is the President going to veto anything that does not contain funding for border security? It is simple and he tells us on Twitter:

Leadership, hmm, not sure who he means. I’d like to know if this included the minority leadership. President Trump wrote “The Art of the Deal” and this is what I know from reading it. If he lets them get away with not keeping their promise they will keep on doing it. He won’t let that happen. Frankly, that is what they did to Reagan on a similar issue. That broken promise leads us to where we are today with 22 million illegals costing us billions every year!
My bet is that the government will shut down. Nancy and Chuck should know better but I’m guessing they have to show their base that they tried. I could be wrong and we will see soon.
