As I said in the video about Wednesday night’s debate starting around 6:20, my expectations were low. I was not disappointed. The constant overlapping of voices during the debate is unproductive and serves no one’s interests. In my opinion, it would be beneficial if all participants were placed in soundproof booths, with their microphones automatically muted once their allotted time expired. Until the number of competitors is reduced to two, or at most three, I have no intention of watching any future debates. These events cannot be considered genuine debates. It is wise of Trump to refrain from participating until there is a single individual standing to challenge him.

I lost respect for Tim Scott and Nikki Haley. I never had any for Christie since all he does is Trump bash. Tim kept talking over Vivek. He should apologize. Haley saying “Every time I hear you I feel a little bit dumber for what you say” was embarrassing for her. If I were her I would not want to match wits with Vivek. I always thought Ron should have waited for 2028 to throw his hat in the ring. He is not doing himself any favors at this time. The others should just drop out now and save their donors their money.

I agree with much of what they all represent and say and I bet they would agree with me. However, that doesn’t mean I should run for President. It takes something more to be a good President. I will say Vivek is the most interesting. At least he has new ideas even if they are controversial to the establishment. In that way, he is Trump-like. Funny that they both come from business and not politics. That makes me wonder if we should ever have politicians as Presidential candidates again. Maybe I’m prejudiced being a business owner myself.
