The Beatles Had It Right – Revolution #VetsForTrump

Around 1968 the Beatles had a hit song called Revolution. I was only 10 years old but it recently played on the radio and brought back a wave of memories. Growing up in Queens NY in the 1960’s I was right in the center of the Revolution they were talking about. Here is the video with the lyrics.

For the younger folks in the crowd reading this it was the middle of a tumultuous time in America. Much worse than today. Just take a look at the major heading for that era on Wikipedia. Here is the link.

As I was driving down the road the other day I heard the song and noticed the final lyrics:

All this time I had assumed (and shame on me for that) the Beatles were left-leaning revolutionaries. Based on this song I had to rethink my assumption.

I then looked the song up and there is an entire Wikipedia article on just that song. Here are the entire lyrics with some comments bolded:

The “You” is the leftists revolutionairies of the 1960’s. He also states “we all want to change the world” meaning both sides.

But when you talk about destruction

This was the era of violent clashes with police and bombings by Obama supporter and mentor Bill Ayers.

We’d all love to see the plan

I love this part. Trump supporters keep saying to those who hate the President “We’d love to see your plan” but we know they have none. They just preach hate Trump, F-Trump and the list goes on and on. They have NO PLAN!

You ask me for a contribution

We’re all doing what we can

But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell you is brother you have to wait

All the left has is a mind of hate. Funny how the left has not changed its hateful mindset since the 1960’s. They try to pin hate on President Trump but an objective observation shows the truth. Yes, President Trump is angry but it righteous anger at how both political parties have intentionally failed the people of America. It was then as it is now, the left have always been the haters and that has been true since the promoted slavery in the 1800’s and started the Civil War.

I like his call for calming down!

We all want to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution

You’d better free your mind instead

This one is full of wisdom and is pertinent to today. The left wants to change the costitution in many ways. The right to bear arms and drowning out free speech by labeling it hate speech are just two examples. It was then as it is now, the right wants to change the lefts mind instead.

For the younger crowd you should read up on Chairman Mao of China. He was responsible for the deaths of between 49 and 78 Million people. He made Stalin and Hitler look like amateurs. Here is a list of the top 10 evil dictators. Mao is number 1. The thing for leftists and especially young people to know is nearly all were Communists or Socialists. That’s what the left really produces, death.

There is a lot of screaming from the left for violence and “revolution” against the right. It is noteworthy for Trump supporters the real revolution took place by electing Donald Trump as President. While the left invaded his rallies and tried to make it look like he and his supporters were violent the truth came out later proving it was not Trump or his supporters. It was the left. They did this because they feared a counterrevolution that was overthrowing the revolution of the 1960’s. 

Too late. It is here and here to stay.
