I was going to touch on this subject by writing a post about getting rid of the Department of Education. One metric I stumbled on during my research was literacy rates declined in America ever since the DOE’s October 17, 1979 inception. The percent of illiteracy, according to earlier measurement methods, was less than 1 percent of persons 14 years old and over in 1979. Today it stands at 19.3%!
I know there will be those who argue causation versus correlation. Sadly, that statement alone is impossible for most Americans to comprehend.
\How can you support man who bragged about grabbing women by the pussy in the Hollywood access tape and then was found guilty by a jury of doing exactly that? Trump forcefully inserted his fingers in her vagina was how the judge described it when he pointed out that this type of sexual assault is commonly understood to be rape.
I thought Trump was sunk when I first heard the Billy Bush secret recording from 2005. That was until I spoke with Women for Trump and heard their point of view. It was a political hit job, held from 2005 until Trump ran for President in 2016. Women for Trump explained that many women go nuts over a star and let them get away with murder. They also told me I would not want to hear how women talked about men when they were not around. They also reminded me that Democrat President Bill Clinton set the standard for future Presidents. He became more popular and was even re-elected after the fact.
Of course, Trump denies this thing with E. Jean Carroll. The judge appeared to be corrupt by not letting in Trump’s testimony. And of course, Trump is appealing and counter-suing. So in the end, who knows for sure what happened? This is not a criminal case and if you ask me it is all very suspicious that she waited until now (30 years) to bring a lawsuit. Add to that she was backed by big-money Democrat donor, billionaire Reid Hoffman. It was also held in a New York court. It is just as likely for a Jew to get a fair trial in Nazi Germany as it is for Trump in Democrat cities.
Numerous psychologists and other mental health professionals around the world are watching Donald Trump closely and concluding that he is dangerously demented. You watch his speeches. What is your opinion? Are they right?
The American Psychiatric Association established the Goldwater Rule, which prohibits psychiatrists from diagnosing or offering opinions about public figures unless they have conducted a formal diagnostic interview with them. Goldwater was an Air Force Reserve pilot and Maj General who served in the Senate and ran for President against Lyndon Johnson.

There is a valid concern regarding the motivations of individuals who engage in such statements. It is questionable whether their actions are driven by a genuine desire to assist the country in making informed decisions, or if they have ulterior political motives or seek personal recognition by making their opinions public. I see it as mainly the latter.
It is important to note that the responsibility of removing a president does not lie with mental health professionals. This task falls within the jurisdiction of either the cabinet, in accordance with the 25th Amendment, or Congress itself, and must follow a specific process. If they haven’t used this to get rid of Joe Biden I cannot see this happening to Trump.

No. I have not personally seen this but with the amount of talking Trump does over Biden I would expect more messing up. I mean good grief is there any comparison between Trump and Biden? I was an Air Force Special Ops instructor for 23 years. Yep, there were times in my 20’s, 30’s and 40’s you would have thought the same about me. Everyone loses their train of thought from time to time. Then your mind is like “oh shit! where was I?” The more frequently you do public speaking the more this will happen. Did you ever see a President or Presidential candidate do more public speaking than Trump? I don’t think so. I saw this often in life. How many teachers & professors did you see lose their train of thought?
But what if you are right? My response would be that is why you need a strong Vice President. Look who Biden picked. So, the Dems have 2 people not qualified to lead the nation now occupying the highest offices in the land. They are in panic mode because they know Joe will not make it. Who will they run against Trump? I do not know. However, you are not voting or you are voting third party. Good luck with that.

Trump says he won the 2020 election and Biden lost. He took his complaints to 60 courts, before Trump judges, Obama judges, and Bush judges and lost every time. Do you Mike Kelly believe that Trump won the 2020 election? If not how can you support a liar for president?
Do I trust the 2020 COVID elections? No. This is more complicated than a simple reply. Mac and I did a video on this subject focusing on Pennsylvania where we are from and we know the best. Neither one of us are even close to right-wing conspiracy theorists but we do know the type and they frustrate us. At the same time some real shady stuff did go on. There was also election interference by Mark Zuckerberg and other Big Tech companies as well as the Laptop cover-up. All these things changed the outcome of the 2020 election. Even NPR has an article about this and they are NOT right leaning at all.
Many former Trump cabinet members and administration employees say they won’t vote for him because he’s a threat to democracy. What do you think?

Religion is a very interesting subject. I do not know how to define a “Good Christian”. I do know Jesus said there is no one good but God.
While we should not abandon the practice of gathering in Christ’s name (Hebrews 10:25), the church as it stands today is not necessarily what is meant by this passage. It might help to read this post “What or Who is the Church?”
Christians are sinners like everyone else. Apart from the grace of God none are worthy.
You might also want to read about King David in the Bible. Underneath the splendor of his last glorious military campaign against the Ammonites was a dark story, known probably at that time only to a very few –the double crime of adultery with Bath-sheba and the virtual murder of Uriah. I’m not saying I agree with you about the accusations against Trump. I’ll probably write more about that later in an individual post because it is a recurring theme among the left. However, not much has changed since I wrote about Scandals in 2022. Here is a link to that post.
Mr Kelly, I’m seeing a lot of comments on various websites that Trump is becoming more incoherent by the day. That he is basically babbling in his speeches, saying things that don’t make any sense, or are just unbelievable to anyone not a follower so ardent they can’t think critically. What do you think?

In addition to the points I made in my comment to Marc, there are a few key observations I have made regarding Trump. For instance, I believe that mistakes such as Trump saying “Sioux City” instead of “Sioux Falls” are understandable and not worthy of excessive criticism. I do not hold Biden to a different standard in this regard, as I believe minor slips should not be the focus of scrutiny. Instead, I believe that the frequency and nature of these slips should be considered, as I have previously mentioned in my interactions with Marc.
I may write more about this in a post if I find time.

Oh, I can hardly keep myself from cracking up. Jeffrey Toobin! LOL. I’m supposing you were making a joke. Correct me if I’m wrong. God, I hope you were not serious. If you are asking for a friend just laugh at him/her or whatever.
On a separate note, I wonder how many people saw that Trump stands to make just under 4 Billion from Truth Social. He only has to come up with the money until he gets in front of an honest court. Frankly, all these attacks called “lawfare” are why he gets more popular each time they come at him. If Trump doesn’t win then you can be assured it is the end of our political system. Thank God for the 9-0 Supreme Court ruling on the ballot.
